We’ll keep you updated as we learn more. If your vehicle needs to stay with us, free loaner cars may be available, subject to availability. Drivers must be at least 25 years old, have full-coverage auto insurance, and provide a credit card for a $50 incidental hold. The hold is returned when the loaner is returned.

Yes. If we find something beyond the work you approved, we’ll explain what we found and discuss the estimate with you before moving forward. You stay in control of which recommended repairs you authorize.

We don’t install customer-supplied parts because we can’t verify their fit or quality, and installing them creates liability concerns. Most repairs completed with parts supplied by T.J.’s are covered by our 36-month/36,000-mile warranty. We’re happy to review your vehicle’s needs and provide an estimate using parts we supply.

Yes. Intermittent problems and warning lights often require testing to identify the cause. Even if a warning light turns off, that doesn’t necessarily mean the problem is gone; your vehicle may still have stored diagnostic history that can help us investigate. We’ll ask about the symptoms you’ve noticed and perform diagnostic checks, since a warning-light scan alone may not identify the needed repair.

Wait appointments are limited to services we schedule for customers to wait. Even a quick service, such as an oil change, requires a minimum one-hour wait from check-in through checkout because we perform a digital inspection on every vehicle. We’re a full-service repair shop, not a quick lube. Diagnostics and most repairs require a drop-off because testing and repair times can be difficult to predict. Call ahead, and we’ll help you choose the best plan.

We’ll document what we find, explain how it affects your vehicle, and provide recommendations so you can make an informed decision. We won’t proceed with additional work without your authorization.

We can help with the repair information and documentation your provider requires, and we’ll do our best to have eligible repairs covered. Warranty companies may require extended phone calls and administrative work, so we charge an administration fee for handling the claim. Coverage decisions and approved amounts are set by the warranty company, and you’re responsible for the administration fee and any portion the provider doesn’t cover.

If you’re experiencing a serious brake, steering, tire, or overheating concern—or your check engine light is flashing—pull over when it’s safe and contact us before driving further. A flashing check engine light can indicate a serious problem that may damage the vehicle. We don’t offer towing at this time, but we recommend Imperial Heights Towing at 724-695-0150.
